Four Years of Putting Myself Out There in Cyberspace: Happy Blogging Anniversary to Me!

If you’ve been blogging for a year or more, you’ve received this notification:

blogging anniversary

In my case, it’s been four years since I began sharing on WordPress. Like many bloggers, I had great intentions and planned to blog frequently … and those great intentions often went out the window when life got in the way. For some people, blogging slows down because they run out of things to write about. Anyone who has worked with me and has received one of my epistles will tell you that finding something to write about isn’t usually a problem for me. 😉

But I’ve been sidetracked at different times by various things: the death of a parent, a move across country, construction of a home office, and a plethora of editing work, among other things.

In the past four years, I’ve blogged about writing, editing, book proposals, and beta readers. I’ve invited editing clients to write guest posts about their editing experiences, and I’ve written a little about my personal life. The one blog I almost didn’t post became the most-read post on my site after it appeared on the Huffington Post. Writing for this blog has been—and still is—both fun and challenging.

    1. You may say “very” as many times as you like when you’re saying things that make me blush 😉 Thanks so much, Patricia; I love working with you, too.

    1. Thank you, Joan! Like most bloggers, I sometimes wonder if anyone cares what I have to say … and then I remember wonderful followers like you!
