I’m excited to announce that Kristen Otte, author of The Adventures of Zelda: A Pug Tale, has released the second version of adorable stories about Zelda (which I had the privilege of proofreading). You can sample the first chapter of The Adventures of Zelda: A Pug Tale for free, and once you get to know this charming pug, I know you’ll want to read more. I was enchanted by Zelda, and I think you will be, too!

Thanks Candace for your proofreading help and promotion!
My pleasure, Kristen! I really enjoyed reading and working on this book, and I hope everyone will get to know Zelda–she is quite a character!
I should have known you two were working together. Kristen is a terrific writer (one of he best I’ve encountered on WordPress), and I’m sure your edits gave her Zelda books that last bit of sparkle. I would endorse these Zelda books without having read them.
Working with Kristen was a dream come true–she’s a great storyteller, and such a pro! (Hope you’ll have a chance to read them soon, Eric–they are my new guilty pleasure!)
After reading the first chapter, I think I’m hooked, Candace. Thanks for the introduction to Kristen and the adorable Zelda. My best friend is pug crazy, she owns three and her daughter has two. They would love these stories! Best of luck to you, Kristen.
I’m hooked, too, Jill. While I was proofreading the stories in The Adventures of Zelda: The Second Saga, I emailed Kristen to tell her I laughed out loud at several of the stories! I know what I’m gifting all the young readers in my life in 2014!
You’ve got a great job, Candace!
Thanks for checking out the first chapter! I hope you enjoy the books and your friends do too.
As Candace mentioned, the stories will make a perfect gift.

I am not sure if I need to be concerned but I seem to be moving away from the more steamy romances to stories about pets. I am broody for another dog in the house and my husband is trying to move the inevitable out a couple of years until renovations on our mountain retreat are finished! So here is more fuel to my hormonal fluctuations.
